I have so many wonderful memories of Mrs. Emerson! Every summer me and my siblings and help her in the garden. The green beans was ready for picking. We picked and picked, laughed and she would smile and chuckle and tell us what a delight. The next morning my entire face was so swollen and I had a terrible rash. Mama thought it was poison ivy. It was the green beans! Mrs. Emerson had me pick a different vegetable after I healed up.
She was such an amazing strong woman! Her faith in God is beyond measure! She will be truly missed by all that knew her and loves her! I know she is so happy in her new home and smiling so much!!! So happy for her she is with Jesus!!! And is smelling all the wonderful things He created!!!!
