I think of Pat (and Stanley) every day … In most of my memories, Pat is much younger than I am now. What the grandchildren said in this wonderful celebration of her life rings true for me, too. We’ve spent so many great times with you all at new year’s, the Fourth of July, the lakes, in Columbus, and in Siloam Springs … Pat’s goodness, kindness, generosity, and playfulness are prominent in my memory and celebration of her life. And I will always remember how good her iced tea was—in all seasons.
We have known Pat since she moved to Siloam Springs. She was always our dear friend but when we both got married she was even a better friend. She and her family made us feel at home many times over the years even when we showed up unexpectedly. She never acted as though she was surprised to see us or cook for us.
Pat helped us so much when our son was sick and died. She prayed for us and helped give us strength. I will miss our phone conversations. But we know she has gone to be with Stanley and her Mom and Dad. We love you, Pat, and we’ll see you in heaven.
I was a very long time friend of Pats & we had many fun times in Siloam Springs Arkansas. Her mother would take us to Joplin to shop ever so often & I remember when we purchased the same outfit so that we could wear them on the same day. Pat had a beautiful smile, she loved her family & I wish them comfort & peace at this time-
Pat was such a sweet lady and I enjoyed visiting with her many times while we worked at Maude Norton Hospital. Our condolences to the entire family!
