Ron Maglaughlin
Michael was a true marine who lived on the edge. He joined the PSU skydiving club in the mid-1970s. While in the club, he saw the need for a jump plane and a pilot. He got his commercial license and purchased a 180 Cessna. Michael then became a pilot for many drop zones in Kansas, Oklahoma and Missouri. A few years later Michael had a skydiving accident that limited his flying and skydiving. I kept in touch with Michael through the years picking him up for lunch and reminiscing about the good old days. He hoped that he could eventually get back into the sport he loved. Michael was a good man with a big heart and many friends. He will be missed by all who knew him especially his Blue Sky friends.
Fly high my friend,
Doc Maglaughlin
