Tracy Zimmermann
I never met Mary Lou in person, but we exchanged letters, cards, emails and phone calls over the years. She was a special lady. The research she and Jim did on our Shaw Family Tree was amazing and instrumental in my research that allowed me (with the help of other Shaw cousins) to finally obtain that elusive Mayflower Society membership. It could not have been done without her.
I would think of her often as I'd sit down to work on my genealogy, grateful that I had the shoulders of such a wonderful giant to stand upon while I did it. I will miss you, Mary Lou. Thank you for your kindness, your generosity and your gentle spirit.
