My Uncle Jerry was kind to me. Although I was named after my Auntie ( Aunt Verda) I was never treated like any part of any family of his. I was his niece from another part of the family. A part that felt she never should have been a part of this family. A part of a family that the cousins were never very friendly. I bet they don't even know or remember who I am. None of them even knew me. They weren't allowed. As I was a part of a family who's name must not be mentioned. My Aunties family. So sad. Such sad memories of so many visits. My deepest condolences anyway, to the Jones family and the people who I suppose are called my cousins.

My most recent memories of Uncle Jerry are some of my best. I would go down to Pittsburg and either meet Jerry and Cleo and maybe one of the boys for lunch in Pittsburg or go on to Jerry's house and have wonderful conversations, laughs, raise a glass or two and I would always learn something from him. If we met at the house I was so happy that at least one if not two of the boys were there also. I would always drive away from there feeling so fulfilled, happy, loved and a little more educated on at least one subject if not more. Uncle Jerry also had great stories of the family growing up and had such interesting stories about everyone. I'm so glad you were a part of my life Uncle Jerry. I love you and will miss you very much. When I can, I might have to carry on the tradition of meeting with your boys and having these great times together and conversations carry on....... Love you Uncle Jerry

I will always cherish my memories when I was growing up. Some of my favorite memories were visiting Aunt Verda and Uncle Jerry on the farm.
Steve and I still enjoyed going to the farm. Drinking a couple of cold ones with our cousins, while listening to Uncle Jerry, Uncle Cleo and dad tell their life long stories was good times and great memories.
Love you Uncle Jerry, say hello to mom and others. Until we meet again.....

Jug,I remember when you loaned me 100.00 for a cushman motor scooter, and you let me work it off on the farm.I also remember all the good food we ate when we filled the Silos,the fire you started in the pasture at the north fourty took us four hours to put it out just the two of us.Another memory is the dog you had me put down because you couldnt do it and the boys saw me do it & they were mad at me for years.I thank you a wonderful Uncle to me, Love Ya Billy Jay.
