I am so sorry to hear of Dave's passing. He so generously showed me his guitar collection in the building next to Pickled Pete's the day of the songwriter contest. I enjoyed listening to the stories and history of each guitar. I am so thankful to have met him

I am very sorry to hear about the loss of my old Scoutmaster. David was a big part of my scouting life as a youth, which I am still involved in today in the position he held in Troop 85. Prayers to the Anderson family.

Dave was one of the greatest inspirations I had in my adult life. His love of family, music and having a good time at whatever he was doing always resonated with me. I am thankful he shared his love of music and guitars for as many years as we got to hang out together. All the times Kay put up with us sitting in his guitar room picking out songs, dragging her to a bar to listen to us play, she truly loved him. I will always think of him when I hear George Strait’s “ Troubadour” song as that is one of his legacies he left along with his wonderful family he cared so much for. Rest in peace my friend!
