Mrs. Chouinard was my kindergarten teacher in 1994-1995. She was always so kind and never gave up on my when it came to teaching me how to tie that old boot in class. She always read us the book Miss wooshy washy and Amelia bedelia she had a great personality and sense of humor I saw her about my sophomore year in high school and she still knew who I was. :) I'm so sad to hear of her passing.
Mrs Chouinard was my kindergarten teacher in 1957 at Lakeside Elementary. When I reflect on teachers throughout my life, Mrs Chouinard brings back great and touching memories. I remember her kindness and patience with us all and how we looked forward to the learning activities. My personal favorite was watercolor painting and that had to be a mess to direct and clean up! Mrs. Chouinard had a steady hand for teaching our first real 'school' skills, allowing for individuality, but keeping us in line. Literally, she could keep us in a line for the restroom, and I am now amazed how she ever did that!
I remember her beauty and gentleness, often wearing a big rose pinned to her blouse. She set a great example as a kindergarten teacher for my future teachers to follow. I will remain forever thankful. Doug Sheward
She was my kindergarten teacher and I remember her well with great fondness. She was patient, kind, caring and all the things a kindergarten teacher should be. She was kind enough to attend my mother's funeral a few years ago. Great lady!

We have know Beverly for a little over a year. Since that time we attended her home with her Church Class and listened to her play the organ and really enjoyed it. We also attended her Sunday School class and always enjoyed her comments. Most of time when we arrived for class she would be playing the organ.
Just recently she was assisting with Vacation Bible School and we took her home three of the days during that week.
She always seemed to really enjoy life, even to the end, as we have have known her.
She must have been a wonderful teacher for over 40 years.
She will be missed by all of her friends.
Beverly was the sweetest lady that I have ever known. She worked with me at First Christian Church as one of my volunteers and we had some good times. She fought a good fight but it finally got the best of her. I will have fond memories of her.

Beverly was the sweetest person I have ever known. Kind, generous, wise, intelligent, loving, brave. I always marvelled at the marriage she had with Mick. In all the years they had together, they didn't always agree, but they never had a fight. They loved each other in a way that we all should.
Mick and Beverly were always willing to help others in any way they could. They would even allow themselves to be knowingly taken advantage of. And if you asked them about it, they would say "they needed it more than I do".
And when Beverly got sick, if you asked her how she was doing, she would tell you that she felt good even when you knew she didn't. I think even then she was more concerned with others. She didn't want people to worry about her.
I hope that her family and friends can take solace in knowing that her and Mick are now reunited and two of the most special people I have been honored to know will be together forever.
Beverly was a unique person who seemed never to become upset. My 3 children all attended her kindergarten class. One of my sons was actually in love with her! On different occasions I observed her trying to untie shoe laces on a child who had tied his feet together, struggling to remove a snow boots that had been placed on the "wrong" feet, and other frustrating situations. You could tell that Beverly loved all the children by her patience and calm personality. She was a great teacher who left many special memories for her students. Jewell Turner
