To all of Arnie's family, we are very sorry for your loss. We knew Arnie in Alaska. We were all stationed together in the Air Force. Arnie and Mark were hunting buddies. We relived some very old memories with other friends after we heard of Arnie's passing. Memories about climbing goat mountain and trying to keep up with Arnie, duck hunting, and just plain old having fun. He was a great guy. We kept in touch through Facebook. The photographic profession has lost a true friend to the industry. Arnie was always the guy over in the corner of the booth helping someone. If you had a problem, just call him and he would take care of it.

When we last spoke, Arnie was very excited about his new venture and we are happy he got to enjoy it.

I see in his photo he has on his Air Force cap. We chatted a few times about his time in the military and how it compared to my dad's time in the Army Air Corp in WWll. We all thank you for your service.

Now we will be missing yet another friend, may you rest in peace.

Arnie to me was not only my cousin but I considered him a great friend. I so enjoyed going over to his store and visiting with him about old times. He always seemed to take the extra step and have time for everybody without thinking about himself. He was such a comfort when my father, his uncle, was in his last days on this earth, and I know that Arnie and my father are enjoying themselves in heaven telling each other stories that they both enjoyed doing. . It isn't our decision when God decides that our work on this earth is done, but heaven has definitely gained an angel when he left us here on earth. I will miss Arnie very much, but I know God's plan must be followed. Fly High Arnie, all of us will miss you greatly and we all love you.
