I am one of Ted's nieces and I remember going to visit my aunt Patsy and Uncle dad at least two times a year on our way to the Ozarks! Him and Patsy were always so kind and accommodating as we stayed at their home for a night or two before going on to the Ozarks! I did enjoy his sense of humor always teasing me!
He and Patsy were our youth group leaders and touched our lives with their warmth and generosity. I have so many good memories of those service trips we took to the Appalachian mountains. I remember his sense of humor and obvious bravery in taking a bunch of teenagers on a long distance driving trip and then supervising said teenagers on how to do home renovations. He was an inspiration and a shining example of a life well lived.
Thank you for all of the adventures! I will cherish them forever.
Ted was an awesome guy! He will be missed! He was a great Explorer leader and a good hearted person! ❤️
