Debbie and I met Wayne several years back as we wanted to add some Rock siding onto our house here in Lamar. We were so glad we chose Wayne to do the rock work as we never saw anyone so particular. Even though the job was contracted which some masons might have just wanted to get the job done as quickly as possible, Wayne never hurried his work. In fact he told us he hated to “cut” rock to make things fit, and so much time was spent looking for just the right rock to use. We observed this over and over which we so much appreciated. We cannot count how many people have stopped and asked who did the rock work on our home and even though Wayne had passed, we will continue to tell people how great of a job he did.
Not only the quality of work did Wayne place at a high level, but many times he’d take time to visit with us about many subjects, and respected our opinions as much as we did his. And we really liked his opinions!! A great American and veteran, and even took time to answer grandsons’ questions while he worked!
We pray for comfort for all his family during this difficult time and know Wayne will be missed by many.
Sincerely,
Kent Harris
