Virginia M Swenson's Obituary
Virginia M. Swenson, 80, of Mound Valley, KS died September 6, 2024 at her home.
She was born August 20, 1944 in Miami, OK the daughter of Carl and Viola (Kirk) Tinsley.
On March 19, 1994 she was united in marriage to Ernest P. Swenson, Sr.; he survives her of the home.
Virginia was a housekeeper and cleaning person for Woodworth Community Services for many years.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Mound Valley.
Additional survivors include a daughter: Loretta Collins of Springfield, MO; a son Kenny Betts of Afton, OK; a daughter Lydia Kepner of Parsons, KS and a brother Larry Tinsley of Blue Jacket, OK, along with several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her father and mother, a brother Robert Tinsley, a son Ernest P. Swenson, Jr. and a daughter Amy Betts.
Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 12, 2024 at the Richland Cemetery in Angola, Kansas. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 11 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home of Columbus. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Mound Valley.
