Duke was "one of a kind" person. I will miss seeing him around town and in Madison Pet Clinic with Mr Peanut and Kieko. My heartfelt condolences. - Jackie Wilson
Very sad to hear of the passing of Duke. On behalf of the entire Spare Cat Rescue gang, we send our condolences to the family. We used to see him every Saturday when we were doing off-site adoptions at Petsmart in Joplin. He would come in with his two sweet dogs, dressed up and sometimes with shamrock socks. He always brightened our day. He and I were doing chemo at the same time and when I couldn't go to Petsmart, I always asked about him. I always looked forward to seeing him and I will miss him. I remember the first time I saw him, I was working in his neighborhood for several days. He was walking his 2 dogs and they had matching coats and I commented on his cute dogs. While I was in his neighborhood, I saw him every day walking his puppies. Then I saw him at Petsmart on Saturdays. A great man. He brightened my world and I'm glad I had the honor to know him.
