Violet Marie Comer's Obituary
Violet Marie Comer 74, of Riverton, KS died 10:52pm Thursday August 3, 2023 at the Mercy Hospital in Joplin, MO following an illness.
Violet was born May 21, 1949 in Columbus, KS the daughter of Amos and Violet Virginia (Parmelee) Belden. She was a lifelong resident of the area and attended area schools. Violet married Richard Comer; he preceded her in death. Violet worked 30 years at King Louie Sewing Factory as a bundler. Violet was of the Christian Faith; she loved camping, boating, fishing and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include children Penny Littlefield of Riverton, KS and Steven Snyder and wife Stephanie of Riverton, KS; grandchildren Christopher Snyder and wife Allyson, James Snyder, Hollie Snyder, Danielle Sampson, Tyler Buckallew, Perry Sharp and wife Bonyta, Haley Randall and husband Ryan, Stephany Guffey and husband Timothy, Shaylene Sumners and husband Joey, Miranda Snyder and Taylor Siegert, Magan Snyder and Shannon Snyder; many great-grandchildren, friends and extended family.
Violet was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother Carl Belden and daughter Deborah Buckallew.
