Tony V. Malnar's Obituary
Tony V. Malnar, 69 of Girard, KS died February 9, 2024 at his home following a long illness.
He was born Feb 2, 1955 in Girard, KS the son of Eddie and Betty (Howell) Malnar.
On February 2, 1979 he was united in marriage to Margaret E. “Missi” Malnar in Pittsburg, KS; she preceded him in death on October 25, 2008.
Tony was an auto body technician for several years. He owned and operated Malnar Auto Body in Frontenac, KS.
Survivors include a sister Vicki Curran of Coffeyville, KS; six adopted grandchildren Morgan Lee Prager, Kiersten Monique Crawford, Christian Shane Crawford, Adia Chanelle Johns, J’Naya Louise Logan, Basia Shiann Smith; three great grandchildren: Jakaiah Braelyn Crawford, Luca Lee Venturella, Zamir Akeem Pierce; a nephew Scott Curran and an adopted daughter Christine Vincent and family alone with his beloved dog Kobe.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, an adopted daughter Kimberly Ann Prager and a faithful companion Goliath.
A Graveside service will be held Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at 2 pm at the Liberal City Cemetery in Liberal, MO.
