Thomas Lee Bennett's Obituary
Thomas Lee Bennett, 72 of Columbus, KS, died January 25, 2025 at his home.
He was born October 2, 1952 in Columbus the son of Lee Arthur and Beulah Maxine (Wilson) Bennett.
He graduated from Columbus High School in 1970.
On August 29, 1970 he was united in marriage to Connie Perry in Columbus Kansas; she preceded him in death November 11, 2023.
Thomas was drafted into the Army National Guard in 1972 as a last round draft inductee; he was honorably discharged in 1979. He was of the Christian faith and enjoyed hunting, fishing and pecan picking.
Thomas worked at Calibrated Forms for 20 years in the maintenance dept.
Survivors include a son Scott Bennett of Columbus; two grandchildren Brice (Courtney) Bennett and Bailey (Keaton) Schoech; Along with two great-grandchildren Fisher and Milo Bennett.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and a brother Glenn Bennett.
A celebration of life will be at 5:00 p.m., Thursday, January 30, 2025 at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home in Columbus with Father Jeremy Huser officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Park Cemetery.
