Terry L. Phipps' Obituary
Terry L. Phipps, 73 of Frontenac, KS died September 27, 2020 at the Ascension Via Christi hospital in Pittsburg following a lengthy illness.
He was born February 20, 1947 the son of Benjamin and Lavon M. (Willey) Phipps.
Terry was a longtime area auto mechanic he owned and operated Frontenac Auto Service.
Survivors include his wife Vickie (Swartz) Phipps of the home, two daughters: Janelle Phipps of Pittsburg and Rochelle Phipps Garrett of Denison, Texas, a brother Benny Phipps of Pittsburg and 2 sisters Saundra Rhodes and Beverly Ross; a step-son Steve Porter of Kansas City, MO; four grandchildren Cameron Garrett, Veronica Garrett, Colin Garrett, and Sandra Phipps Terrill and two great grand children Brantley Mein (Phipps) and Braxton Mein (Phipps)
Graveside services were 10am Friday, October 2, 2020 at the Garden of Memories Cemetery with Pastor Duane Elmore officiating. Condolences may be left at www.bathnaylor.com. Memorials may be made to the Ascension Via Christi Caner Center; these may be left at or mailed to the funeral home.
