Teddy Rex Wing's Obituary
Teddy Rex Wing, 73, of Weir, Kansas, passed away at 12:20 p.m., Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, Missouri.
He was born on November 19, 1952, in Wichita, the son of Rex and Peggy (Turner) Wing.
Teddy was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He earned his master’s degree and worked at the Office of Special Investigations. He was dedicated to his work and took pride in his service and career.
He was united in marriage to Frances Kay Prewett on February 8, 1969, in Weir, Kansas. She preceded him in death on July 22, 2017.
He is survived by his daughters: Stacey Wing of Weir, Kansas; Barbara Regan of Colorado, two siblings, Myra Wing of Weir, Kansas and Bobby Wing of Ohio; six grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wife, a daughter Sherry Arredondo, a granddaughter Becca Bonds, and a grandson Richard Elder.
A celebration of life service will be at a later date. Memorials may be made to Children’s Hospital in Aurora, Colorado. Condolences may be left at https://www.bathnaylor.com. Services and arrangements are under the direction of the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home.
