Tammy Kay Duncan's Obituary
Our beloved momma, Tammy Kay Duncan, gained her wings on May 8, 2024, at her daughter's residence, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born May 13, 1959 in Rio Hondo, CA to William and Dixie Toney of Galena, KS, her mother survives.
She was a longtime resident of Pittsburg, KS.
Tammy dedicated many years of her life as a blackjack dealer, bringing joy and excitement to those around her.
She married Lonnie Duncan Sr. in 1973, he preceded her in death in 1997. She leaves behind her loving children, Lonnie, Kim, Brandy, and Mandy Duncan, as well as her lifetime friend, Wanda Cheffner.
Her most cherished role was that of a grandmother, bringing love and joy to her grandchildren: Bridgeden Ingram, Ivy, Levi, Vaida Duncan, Rayna, Blake, Grant, and Carter Bulot, Kaylie, Deveron, Keaira (Tino Canalas), Deonte Duncan (Shayla Estrada), Kayla and Joel Lazo, Tatyana and Noah Jackson, and Brandis Evans. She also leaves behind great-grandchildren Noah and Cashy Jackson, Izzy Mulvany, Adalynn Lazo, Amiyah, Gianna, Colty and Kayson Duncan, Remi and Brycen Blankenship, Jakobe Murry, and Katalina Duncan, mother Dixie Toney, sisters Patty and Pete Richey, Merry and Jon Campbell and Ginger Tully. Her fur babies Frankie and Wolfy.
Tammy was preceded in death by William Toney, Billy and Marsha Toney, Kenny Plemmons, Lonnie Duncan Sr, and her beloved dog Polly.
A Celebration of life will be held on Monday, May 13, 2024 at 2 pm at Bath-Naylor Funeral Home in Pittsburg, KS.
Family will receive friends from 12-2 pm prior to the celebration of life at the funeral home.
A celebration will be held at the Lodge following the service at 2312 W. 4th Street Pittsburg, KS 66762.
