Steven E. Featherby's Obituary
Steven E. Featherby, 26 of Seattle, WA died September 23, 2023 from injuries sustained in an auto accident.
Steven was born on 30 December 1996 at Camp Lejeune Naval Hospital, Camp Lejeune North Carolina, the son of Curtis and Lorie (Judkins) Featherby.
Steven was an adventurous youth that enjoyed the outdoors spending time with his family and friends.
While in High School Steven joined the Civil Air Patrol where he experienced flying planes and gliders. Steven Graduated LCHS 506 and subsequently joined the United States Marine Corps. Exiting the Marine Corps Steven moved to Florida where he took on multiple construction jobs in wastewater plant construction and electrical construction on new facilities. Moving to Washington State Steven remained in the construction field advancing his knowledge in construction as a Lead and a Foreman.
Steven was a loving, caring husband, son, and brother.
Steven is survived by his spouse Ramone of Maple Valley, Washington, his parents Curtis and Lorie, and his brothers Cyle and Vincent of Oswego KS.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Eugene and Rita Judkins.
Graveside services will be 11 am, October 7, 2023 at the Oswego City Cemetery in Oswego, KS with Pastor Duane Elmore officiating. Burial will follow. Visitation will be 9-10:30am Saturday morning at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home. Condolences may be left at www.bathnaylor.com. Memorials may be made to the Youth Crisis Center of Parsons and/or the Oswego Volunteer Fire Dept. Services and arrangements are under the direction of the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home of Columbus.
