Shirley Anne Corn's Obituary
Shirley Anne Corn, 85, of Frontenac, KS, passed away on Sunday, August 15, 2021 at her home.
She was born March 28, 1936 in Corona, KS, the daughter of Louis and Josephine (Crespino) Caputo. She was a high school graduate from West Mineral high and a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
Shirley was married to Edgar “Bud” Corn, he preceded her in death on July 22, 2000.
She was a homemaker her whole life. She thoroughly enjoyed spending time with family and doing things for others. Shirley will always be remembered as an elegantly dressed woman who shined on the dance floor alongside her husband.
Shirley is survived by her son; Tim Corn and wife Christy of Pittsburg, KS, brother; Bill Caputo and wife Judy of Grove, OK, three grandchildren; Ian, Jonah and Lucas and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two sisters; Angie Strathe and Mil Connelly.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM, Friday, August 20, 2021 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Josh Evans as celebrant. Interment will follow at the Highland Park Cemetery.
The parish rosary will be recited prior to Mass at 9:30 AM at The Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
