What a wonderful blessing that the Lord gave me in bringing my cousin Sherry back into my life after so many years. My deepest regret is that it didn't come sooner. We found our lives had so much in common, even the timing of the loss of our spouses. She was a great comfort to me, and I think I was to her also. Many hours were spend on the phone laughing, crying and yes, general teasing too. Sorrow is mixed with joy as I miss her deeply, but we can rejoice that she is at this very moment in the presence of her Lord and savior Jesus Christ. To be in Christ is not to be lost, but only sent on before us. Like a star in the sky, when is goes away, does not die and vanish, but simply shines in another hemisphere.
So sad too loose such a precious Mom, Grandma and a wonderful friend to many. God took home a wonderful, beautiful person to be with Him. She will be missed by many on this earth, but will have open arms for family and friends in Heaven when your time comes. She was always such a blessing to be around.
