Rosemary Ann Morrison's Obituary
Rosemary Ann Morrison, 86, of Pittsburg, KS, passed away Sunday, June 16, 2024 at Comfort Care Homes.
She was born April 6, 1938 the daughter of William and Florence (Inbody) in Neosho, Missouri.
On April 11, 1953 Rosemary married William Morrison. He preceded her in death on November 25, 1999. Rosemary worked as a nurse’s assistant at Mt. Carmel Hospital. Rosemary was a member of St. Barbara’s in Chicopee and Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. She belonged to the Pink Ladies Hospital Auxiliary, and St. Mary’s Goodwill. It is said she loved traveling.
Survivors include her son Robert “Bob” Morrison (Nancy) of North Platte, NE, daughter Elizabeth Hiller (Merlin) of McCune, KS, sister-in-law Verbena Siskey of Atchison, KS, brother-in-law Ronald Morrow (Hilda) Claremont, CA, grand-children Corey, Kyle, Ashley Hiller, Jennifer (Josh) Kramer, Kenneth (Shelby) Morrison, great-grandchildren Eli Hiller, Peyton, Randi, and Emma Kramer, Rhett and Macklin Morrison.
Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband, parents, an infant daughter Anna Marie, and son Richard Morrison.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:00 am Thursday June 20, 2024 at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Pittsburg, KS with Father Chris Rumback. Burial will follow at St. Bridget’s Catholic Cemetery.
Rosary will be recited at 6:00 pm Wednesday June 19, 2024 at the Bath-Naylor Funeral in Pittsburg, KS; family will receive friends following the rosary until 8pm. Friends may call the funeral home after 3:00 pm Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church or Harry Hynes Hospice.
