Robbie and I went to high school together and I considered him a good and trusted friend. We had some fun times together, with him generally driving his cherished Pontiac GTO, and I shed a tear when he graduated as I was left behind as a rising Senior. What a fun fellow, I know he’ll be missed by his entire family, be happy you shared in his life. Our prayers and deepest thoughts are with the entire Sweatt family. Losing a parent, or a grandparent is so difficult. He sounds like a very accomplished person who contributed and made a real difference in the community. I never met Mr. Sweatt, but I know his son well and they must be a great family.

It is with sad hearts that we learned of your family’s loss. My husband Dave shared many adventures, sports and high school pranks with Robert (Robby). I remember being the recipient of some of their jokes! And yes I definitely remember his love of fast cars. We all attended my one and only Grand Prix together in Garnett, Kansas at Robby’s insistence that everyone had to see a race like that at least once in their life. Sadly our lives did not reconnect as adults, but good memories are forever. May God bring comfort to your family.
