Robert "Bob" Coppage's Obituary
Robert Eugene Coppage 86 of Pittsburg, KS formerly of Pleasanton, KS died Tuesday June 21, 2016 at his home in Pittsburg.
He was born August 25, 1929 in Pleasanton, KS the son of Quinton and Rosa (Rittinghouse) Coppage. Bob grew up in and around the Pleasanton area, before moving to the Long Beach, CA area. He was a retired Inspector working for Robert Shaw Controls. Survivors include 2 sons Larry Coppage of Boulder Creek, CA, Roger Coppage of Hopeland, CA; a sister Elsie Lucille Staton of Frontenac, KS a brother in law Sheldon Stoughton of Pleasanton and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a special friend Evelyn Christine Linville; 2 brothers Paul and Fred Coppage and a sister Dorothy Stoughton. According to his wishes Bob has been taken for cremation. Memorial graveside services and inurnment will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 2nd at Pleasanton City Cemetery in Pleasanton, KS.
