Blue, you were such a Great friend to so many people. We shared many stories about the Blues and you were so educated in the music. It was always a comfort to have the “slushy mobile “ next to the stage whenever I played! Visiting with you at the Purita Dance hall brought back so many memories. You will always be remembered and never forgotten. Ride in Peace my friend.
So many memories ....forever in my heart. You will be missed by many ! RIDE FREE FRIEND💙💙
I met Bob when we were living in the Battenfeld scholarship hall at the University of Kansas in 1962...at the time he was a gung-ho military type person. Later on he literally saved thousands of the Big and Little Blue Books published in Girard.
Prayers for Roberts family. Knew Robert through out Jr and Senior High School, OHS class of 61. God be with you.
Peace and comfort for your family Uncle Bob. There have been many days of my life that I looked up to you and bragged about you to so many.

So sorry for your loss.
Such a great man, you helped create memories for me that I will never ever forget. You were such an impressionable caring warm sole. Your family treated me like another member. You were like a super hero to me growing up, I hope all of your loving family find peace in knowing that you are in a greater place. Ride on Bob.
