Rhonda Lenea Rodgers' Obituary
Rhonda L. Rodgers, 65, of Columbus, KS passed away at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, MO on Thursday July 27, 2023.
Rhonda was born on January 16, 1958 to Cecil and Joanne (Matney) Carlisle. She was married to David Rodgers on November 11, 1980. Rhonda will be remembered as someone who utterly adored animals, having been a veterinary technician and longtime member of the Veterinary Association of Kansas. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother of 6, and was known for treating everyone she encountered with kindness. Her smile is one that will be remembered by everyone who ever knew her.
Rhonda is survived by her husband David Rodgers, son Anthony Dean, step-son Dustin Rodgers, and step-daughter Shantelly Staton.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Joanne (Matney) Carlisle, brother Rod Carlisle, and sister Diane Nieses.
