Reva Lynn Meadows' Obituary
Reva Lynn Meadows 68, of Pittsburg, KS passed away peacefully August 2, 2022 at her home. Reva was born August 3, 1953 in Pittsburg, KS the daughter of Wallace Willard and Betty Jean (Kennedy) Burke. She was a lifelong resident of the Pittsburg area and a graduate of Pittsburg High School. On January 5, 1971 Reva and Dennis Prewitt were married in Pittsburg, KS; they later divorced. On March 31, 1979 Reva and Cody Meadows were married in Maynor, WV; they later divorced. December 12, 2013, Reva and Jim Bridwell were married in Ottawa, OK; he preceded her in death on February 17, 2014. Reva was a well known advocate for many children in the area and was known to lend a helping hand to whoever was in need. She worked at Crawford County Mental Health for over 20 years, Sharp's Auto Body and Collision, and most recently with the Pittsburg Police Department as a Family Response Advocate.
Reva was of the Catholic Faith; she loved children; she was known as the Queen of Tough Love with a heart of gd and shared her devotion to helping others unconditionally. Reva was a huge asset to all her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her daughter Jessica Dell’Antonia and husband Chuck of Pittsburg, KS; son Dylan Musick of Shawnee Mission, KS; brothers Mickey Burke of Pittsburg, KS, Willie Burke of Pittsburg, KS and Jay Burke and wife Janet of Olathe, KS; grandson Ronin William Musick along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Reva was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jim, brothers Samuel and Daniel Burke. Private Burial Services will take place at a later date at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Pittsburg, KS. A Celebration of Life will be announced by her daughter at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family asks expressions of sympathy to be in the form of a memorial fund to/for Ronin's Education.
