Rebecca Leah Herford's Obituary
Rebecca Leah Herford, 60, of Pittsburg, KS, passed away on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at her home in Pittsburg, surrounded by her family.
She was born August 14, 1960 in Pittsburg, Kansas the daughter of Estel and Margaret (Goodhall) Standlee.
On September 1, 1982, Rebecca married Mark Herford, together they had two children
She was a graduate of Pittsburg High. Rebecca was an active member of the Pitt Chapel Church of God. She enjoyed helping with children’s church.
Rebecca worked as the Housekeeping Supervisor at Via Christi Hospital for over 10 years.
Survivors include, her husband, mother, two daughters; Elisabeth Ruth Herford, Carri Elieen Herford, 9 siblings, some include; Charles Standlee, Geanie Blessant, Patricia Standlee, Tara Standlee, Sandra Wozniak, and Tamera Rogers.
Rebecca is preceded in death by her Father.
Memorial service will be held at 10 AM, Saturday, June 12, 2021 at the Pitt Chapel Church of God in Pittsburg, KS.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be given to the “Pitt Chapel Church of God – Children’s Ministries”. These may be left at or mailed to Bath-Naylor Funeral Home. Friends may leave condolences online at www.bathnaylor.com.
