We were so sorry to hear of Phil's passing! We had not seen Phil for many years, but have fond memories of him. We remember going to the Baptist Church with the Boatright family.. Sad to hear that Phil has passed. Phil was always one of the people I enjoyed visiting with at our PHS reunions, fun to be around and kind to all. We will meet again Phil.
In my life Phil was Jane's big brother. He was a master of mischievous banter, always keeping it lighthearted and humorous. Laughter was something I could count on when we were together. At that stage in life when 3 years represented a big age difference, he always made me feel valued.

So sorry to hear this. I met Phil in college and he was always a great guy to me. Sad that we didn't keep in touch after I went into the Navy. Prayers to the family. You will be missed Phil.
I have too many memories to share, but I remember when and where we first saw each other - the beginning-of-school mixer on the football field. We became a couple soon after; he was the main reason my years at PHS were so happy. Fortunately, we remained lifelong friends. I will miss him forever. Rest in peace, my dear friend. Phil has been a good friend for 30 years. I will never forget my many visits to their homes in Raleigh, Baltimore and Trinity. A Good Man is the highest tribute I can give him . . . Kind, funny, religious, a great friend, considerate, and the list could go on and on. He will be missed by every person he was close to, made you feel so important. We didn’t have enough time with him, I will miss that and will miss him dearly. Rest in peace dear friend.
It’s always sad to lose another classmate. Phil will be remembered for being friendly & sincere to all of us. My condolences to his family and friends in Florida.

So sorry to hear about Phil. Will always remember what a great guy he was in high school, always friendly to everyone, always helpful with an encouraging word to this kid who sometimes felt like an outsider from Texas, always treated his classmates with kindness. They didn't have to his close friends. Those are the traits of a great person, and that's what I will always remember fondly about Phil.
