I am very sorry to hear that Patty has passed away. She was always the one person that you could count on to volunteer to help anyone in need. Always there to support her family and friends. I wish the best for Bob and the entire family. She will always be a special Lady.
My heart is broken. Patty was my best friend when I moved to Norfolk, Virginia in 1968. My husband Randy Ellison served aboard the USS Forrestal with her husband Bob and they were very good friends. Patty helped me so much when I moved there to be with my husband and we were probably together every single day while we lived there. I often corresponded with her after we left Norfolk and our husband's separation from Active duty in the Navy. We recently reconnected through FB and I was so blessed to have heard from her. It saddens me as if it was still 1968 to hear of my dear friend's passing. I have such good memories of her and her kindness. My husband and I were married on January 2, 1968, and I move to Norfolk two weeks later. Patty and Bob were the first two I met when I moved there. We remained friends throughout.
My condolences and thoughts and prayers are with her family whom she loved so much. I will always remember our friendship and what a special and beautiful friend I had in Patty. RIP dear friend. You were very special to me.
Patty was a very special lady, kind and loving ❤️ she was in our girlie group and will be missed so much.
Frank & I are so very sorry to hear of Patty’s passing. Bob and Frank went to school together and I met Patty when our oldest sons started kindergarten. Patty was a sweet and special person, I always liked visiting with Patty and have fond memories of her throughout the years! She never met a stranger and was so proud of her work at PSU as well as her loving family! She won’t be forgotten! I have so many fond memories of Patty from when I was a child and lived down the street from them. Jeff and my sister, Wendy "Stewart" Hoeme, were always good friends when they were young. I babysat Jeff and Laura alot as a teen and my mom, Pam "Stewart" Butz and Patty were great friends too. Patty was the nicest person you would ever meet!! She was always happy, friendly and had a smile for everyone - you would never part ways without a smile bc she just made you smile... :) I loved that she frequently commented on random facebook posts and always said to "tell your mom hi" and "I miss you guys". Even though I haven't seen her in years, I will miss knowing she is "there".. My heartfelt prayers and condolences to Bob, Jeff & Laura as well as the rest of the family. ~Bobbi Stewart
I am so very sorry to hear of my cousin Patty’s passing. Especially since it’s been only the last few
years we have reconnected after being together so much when my uncle was stationed at TravisAFB and Marty lived in Walnut Creek when he was on active duty. Patty was 6 months younger than my brother Bob and I remember well when Michael was born.
