Pat Spieth's Obituary
Pat Spieth, 65 of Columbus, KS died at 9:45 am, Thursday, April 27, 2017 at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, MO.
She was born February 17, 1952 in Columbus the daughter of Harry and Josephine (Best) Goul.
On September 1, 1972 she was united in marriage to Dale Spieth in Columbus; he survives of the home.
While her daughter was growing up, Pat dedicated a lot of time working with the Girl Scouts of America in Columbus. She enjoyed painting and crafts of all types, attending craft shows all over the Midwest to display her (and her dad's) creations. She worked for the State of Kansas in the Job Placement and Benefits unit for over 30 years and had many good friends from her time there. Most of all, Pat loved spending time with her family and spoiling her grandkids whenever possible.
Additional survivors include a daughter Deena (Chad) Kelley of Paxico, KS, a son Eric of Columbus, a brother Kent (Tammy) Goul of Miami, OK, two sisters: Kathy (Ed) Price of Howard, KS, Cheryl (Dennis) Kurtz of Sparks, OK along with four grandchildren: Bryce & Reagan Kelley, Ashton Spieth and Emma Hinkle.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be 1pm Monday, May 1st, 2017 at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home in Columbus with Chaplin Christine Ianncilli officiating. Inurnment will be in the Lone Elm Cemetery at a later date. Condolences may be left at www.bathnaylor.com.
