I worked with Gene, kept in touch irregularly after leaving Pittsburg. I believe I last saw him at Dad's funeral then at Nancy's memorial ... though my memory isn't great. We had great times at the PD, and at a few get togethers thereafter.

Gene as kind and friendly with a great smile. My friend really enjoyed playing Trivial Pursuit with him and often commented about how intelligent Gene was. I like to believe that Gene and Ken are laughing, joking around and telling stories of earlier times and enjoying a highly competitive game of Trivial Pursuit over a good cup of Joe. Betty Harrison
I had the pleasure of working with Gene at the NPC call center. He was a very kind man and always a pleasure to talk to. From reading these memories shared I feel like a barely knew the man, but seeing his face and speaking with daily at work for the past couple years made it feel like we've known him for a lot longer. Gene was a well thought of member of the NPC family and is greatly missed. It was a pleasure knowing you, Sir.
Gene's family has my condolences. I remember Gene from my days on the Pittsburg Police Reserves, he was an EMT and a really nice guy.
Sorry for the families loss. Gene was always a good friend, and enjoyed talking to him. He was a lot of fun to work with, and remember stories from our time on the PD. Sure he is with several other that have passed, all playing Trivial Pursuit!
Gene was a very good EMT, I worked with him for years on the Pittsburg Police Department Ambulance Division. He was a great person who will be missed.

I’m so sorry to hear about Eugene. My prayers are with all the family. I remember a lot of good times when all of us neighborhood kids grew up. I ran into Eugene a few times here in Pittsburg. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
