Norma Jean Dochow's Obituary
Norma Jean Dochow, 86 of Columbus, KS died January 22, 2025 at Medicalodge in Columbus.
She was born December 20, 1938 in Oswego, KS the daughter of William F. and Martha (Vance) Wells.
In 1959 she was united in marriage to Eugene L. Dochow; he preceded her in death 2018.
Norma worked at the U.S.D 493 as a cook for 12 years.
She was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church in Columbus where she was a board member of the Church. She was also a member of the Cooks Association.
She was preceded in death by her husband and two sisters: Dora Poage, Imogene King and a brother Bob Wells.
Funeral services will be 1pm, January 27, 2025 at the United Methodist Church in Columbus with Pastor Dorcia Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Oswego Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 12 pm, Sunday, January 26, at their own convenience. Condolences may be left at www.bathnaylor.com. Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church and/or the Columbus Community Foundation. Services and arrangements are under the direction of the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home of Columbus.
