Nina Louise Smith, 89 of Pittsburg, KS passed October 16, 2025 at the Autumn Place Memory Care in Columbus, KS.
She was born August 27, 1936, in Caruthers, CA the daughter of William A. and Virginia C. Kelso.
She had 1 brother and 4 sisters.
She lived most of her life in California before moving to Pittsburg, KS. She loved her cats, bingo, dancing, gardening, and watching westerns.
Survivors include her children: Althea Lowe of Texas, Kevin Smith of South Carolina, Wilma Horton of Pittsburg, KS, William A. Smith of Pittsburg, KS and Lori Strapp of Orville, CA. She has 18 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her companion Joe Cortez, and her daughter Diedre L. Roberts-Karnes.
