Mike was a stellar role model for his children and grandchildren.
I knew Mike from elementary thru high school. He never changed, a fun loving hard working dependable friend. I pray that during this tragic loss that our lord can give you comfort and strength to bare your loss. Great guy!

Mike and we attended school together all the way through to high school graduation. We attend church with his sister (Sue) and aunt and cousin. It was always good to see Mike at our class reunions. (Auburn High School, Riner, Virginia). If he could not make it, he would call and I enjoyed talking with him. One of my most vivid memories of Mike was how seriously he took basketball games at Auburn. As a spectator, he got so worked up at the referee he was asked to leave! This coming from a guy who was mild mannered. As many will remember, he was quite witty, popular and fun to be around. And he was one of the first cross country "stars" at Auburn.
We will miss Mike and offer our condolences to the family.
