Matilda Caresio's Obituary
Matilda Caresio 105, of Milpitas, CA died 7:30pm Wednesday November 8, 2017 in Sunnyvale, CA of natural causes.
Matilda was born March 13, 1912 in #9 Camp, Kansas to Aloiz and Ella (Sigler) Kokel. Matilda went to Cherokee Schools and later married Giuseppe “Joe” Caresio in 1930 in Cherokee, KS; he preceded her in death in April of 1974. Matilda was mostly a homemaker but later in life worked as an Assembly Worker for North American Airlines.
Survivors include children Betty Jo Crunk of Milpitas, CA; 4 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Matilda was preceded in death by her husband, parents, son John Louis Caresio and 2 grandkids.
Funeral Services will be 10:00am Saturday November 18, 2017 at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home in Weir, KS with Fr. Jeremy Husier officiating. Burial will follow at the St. Bridget’s Cemetery in Scammon, KS. Condolences may be left at www.bathnaylor.com.
