I recently learned of your loss and am so sorry. I met Mary online in around 2009 through our blog sites. We would both compliment each others' work. In 2010 she was instrumental in having me present to the guild in Pittsburg. I finally got to meet her in person. She was so sweet and hospitable, even inviting me over to the house to check out her quilts, sewing studio setup, and to view her stash. She has always been in my heart. I'm praying for the family during this devastating time.

Mary was a great lady. She was such a talented baker, cook, quilter, and gardener. Most of all, she loved her life. Her family meant the world to her. When Mary and I worked together at Extrusions she and you met and were married. I remember fondly the sheer happiness and joy she shared when the two of you moved into your first home, delicious dinners and baked goods she prepared, the four of us playing table games until the wee hours, and the wallpapering project, just to name a few. You two were there for us when our little nieces joined our family. We were truly blessed to have had to opportunity to share these moments with her and you. We send our love to you, dear friend. Mary and I worked together and became friends. I enjoyed seeing her at the Frontenac UMC and at the Little Balkans. I have always admired her quilts and handcrafts. She was also an accomplished baker. I wish I could have visited her more often as I really enjoyed her company. Mary I will miss you.
