Mary Ann Brunetti's Obituary
Mary Ann Brunetti, 89, of Frontenac, KS passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Arma Health and Rehabilitation. She was born on November 1, 1931 in Atchison, KS the daughter of Paul and Frances (Brazil) Diskin.
Mary Ann married the love of her life, Emil Brunetti, on December 28, 1953. He preceded her in death in January 1991.
Mary Ann was a homemaker for many years. She also worked as an administrative assistant for many years at Mt. Carmel Hospital and Residential Center for Youth. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Frontenac. She loved caring for others, dancing, and traveling.
Mary Ann is survived by seven children; Connie and John Simon of Port Allen, LA, Dan and Leann Brunetti of Frontenac, KS, Denise and Greg Redmond of Bel Aire, KS, Jim and Kathi Brunetti of Frontenac, Rick and Milissa Brunetti of Topeka, KS, Janice and Curt Grisham of Frontenac, and Teresa Belew (Jerry Palmer) of Mulberry. She is also survived by sister Peggy Beech of Iola, KS, brother Joe (Leann) Diskin of Overland Park, KS, 18 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren.
Mary Ann is preceded in death by her husband, parents, sister Pauline Brunetti, brother Jimmy Diskin, son-in-law Kris Belew, granddaughter Abby Brunetti, and great granddaughter Amare Race.
For the safety of all, a private family mass will be held at 10:30 AM, Friday, January 8, 2021 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Frontenac. The rosary will be recited before the mass. The mass will be live-streamed and will be accessible under the obituary starting at 10 AM. There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
The family suggests memorials be given to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Frontenac. These may be left at or mailed to Friskel Funeral Home, 230 East McKay Frontenac, KS 66763.
