Marvin Lee Wahl's Obituary
Marvin Lee Wahl 77, of Columbus, KS died 8:11pm Wednesday July 30, 2025 at his home following a short illness.
Marvin was born March 15, 1948 in Weir, KS the son of William Emmett and Donna Lee (McAdam) Wahl. He was lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of Oklahoma State University earning a degree in Agriculture Education. Marvin worked as an Ag Teacher for the Southeast and Columbus, KS school district from 1970 -1990.
Marvin married Dorothy Marie McKinney on September 5, 1969 in Miami, OK; she survives at the home.
Marvin was a member of the First Baptist Church in Oswego, KS; Rotarian for 20 years; Agriculture Seed Broker; member of the American Legion; enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include sons Michael Lee Wahl of Miami, OK and Thomas Scott Wahl of Olathe, KS; grandchildren Izabella Wahl, Kobie Wahl and Jessie Wahl.
Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, sister Valeria Bagby and brother Michael Wahl.
Memorial Services will be 1:00pm Thursday August 14, 2025 at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home in Columbus, KS with Pastor Jim Irwin officiating. Burial will follow at the Hosey Hill Cemetery in Weir, KS with Full Military Honors. In lieu of flowers the family asks expressions of sympathy to be in the form of memorials to the SEK Humane Society. Friends may drop off or mail memorials to Bath-Naylor Funeral Home 611 S.
