Marva D. Collier's Obituary
Marva D. (Evans) Collier, 84, of Joplin, MO, passed away on May 14, 2024 in the home of her son while under hospice care.
Marva was born on October 15, 1939 to Estie and Laura Mae (Careathers) Evans. Marva was united in marriage to Donnie Collier in Miami, OK on October 6, 1962.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Donnie Collier; her parents Estie and Laura Mae (Careathers) Evans; two brothers, Charles (Bob) Evans and James Henry Evans; and two sisters, Almeta L. Hopkins and Wanda Mae Walker.
She is survived by her children, Brian (Karen) Collier of Lamar, MO, Kevin (Treva) Collier of Mindenmines, MO, Jeff (Wendy) Collier of Asbury, MO; one brother, Edward T. Evans of Frontenac, KS; 9 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren with 2 on the way.
A graveside service will be held for Marva on Friday, May 17, 2024 at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Pittsburg, KS.
