Marijane Ann Koopman's Obituary
PITTSBURG, KS – Marijane Ann Koopman, 89, of Pittsburg, died June 1, 2026 at Guest Home Estates in Pittsburg, KS.
She was born October 12, 1936 in Pittsburg, KS the daughter of Arlo H. and Alice M. Hofmeister Koopman. She had been a life long resident of Pittsburg, KS.
Miss Koopman attended College High School and graduated from Pittsburg State University.
She was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church in Pittsburg.
Survivors include several cousins including Jim and Frances Pyle of Pittsburg who provided for her care. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be 2 pm Friday, June 5, 2026 at the Faith Lutheran Church with Pastor Aaron Schumann, officiating. Burial will be in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Pittsburg, KS. The family will receive friends from 1pm until service time at the church on Friday. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the Faith Lutheran Church or to Harry Hynes Hospice in care of the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home, 522 S Broadway, Pittsburg, KS.
