Lynne Mahurin's Obituary
Lynne Mahurin, 63, passed away July 2, 2022 at Mercy Hospital, Joplin, Missouri from COVID-19 /pneumonia. Lynne was born to Willard G. and Reba (Bolls) Mahurin in Seward Alaska on September 11, 1958. She moved with her family to Joplin, Missouri in 1975. She graduated from Eastmoreland School and worked for over 31 years at the Joplin Sheltered Workshops. She liked going fishing with her father and enjoyed going to dances and other activities with the Community Support Services. Although Lynne had Down's Syndrome, she was very bright, funny and a sparkly nugget. She lived the last nine years of her life at Sunshine, Inc. in Carthage and greatly liked her roommates and staff. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Dubby and Marshall and sister, Lane Morgan. She is survived by sister, LeeAnn Langan (Erv) and many nieces and nephews.
