Louise L. Casaletto's Obituary
Louise Lois Casaletto, age 92, of Frontenac, KS passed away at her home on Friday January 27th, 2023. Louise was born on January 8, 1931 in Arma, KS to Lena and Otto Ossana Sr. She graduated from Arma High School with the class of 1948. She married Louis Lavern Casaletto on June 10th, 1951 at the Arma United Methodist Church. Together they raised three children, David (Diane) Casaletto of Galena, MO, Bonnie (Bill) Warlop of Frontenac, and Mary Sue (Micky) Painter of Frontenac. She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, painting, and working in her flower gardens. Louise and Louis (Cas) owned the Inter-Urban Lumber Co. in Arma for many years. Later they moved to Pittsburg and opened the True Value Home Center, where Louise worked as the housewares dept. manager. She enjoyed managing the bridal registry dept. where she wrapped and delivered wedding gifts to brides in the area. Louise enjoyed spending time with her family, rooting for the KC Chiefs, feeding wild birds and any stray cats in need. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Louis, her brothers Otto Ossana and Joe Ossana, and sisters Lena Bartelli, Clara Matson, Emma Hartshorn, and Mary Morrison. She is survived by her three children, eight grand-children, and seven great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the SEK Humane Society. The family is planning a private celebration of life at a later date.
