Condolences to the Casaletto family across the US. We only met Mr. Casaletto and his wife once, but their decency and kindness and love for their family emanated from them.
Love and respect for the life he lived and the purpose and joy he left behind with his legacy. Blessings on his dear wife of so many years, and gratitude for the example their love story provides.

Without Cas there would be massive hole in the coal mining history of the Little Balkans - no Miners' Memorial with its granite slabs honoring our coal miner ancestors, no kiosks telling the stories of life in the coal fields, no map of the Weir-Pittsburg Coalfield, no photographic history of the miners and the mines. Thinking of Louise and the Casaletto family at this difficult time. Our family has been praying that they will all find comfort and peace, even though this is really hard. I have so many great memories of working at True Value, and i continue to be grateful to the Casalettos for giving me a job and a chance to learn. .... The most vivid memory i have of Cas is very simple, but i think very beautiful: He would stand at the front of the store, between the cash stands, hands in his pockets, and wait patiently (he seemed patient anyway!) for Louise to gather her things so that they could leave. Whether they were going to lunch or leaving for the day, it was kind of the same sweet routine. I know that the family is missing all these small routines they shared with Cas. Hopefully it will help us all to cherish our current routines that we have with the ones we love.
When we bought our first house, Mr. Casaletto was the inspector. He impressed us with his professionalism and thoroughness. Whenever we saw him, we made a point of greeting him and he remembered us. We enjoy the Miner's Museum, so we have him and the Miner's Hall Board of Directors to thank for their time.
