It was always a pleasure to talk to Dan. He was always so interesting and knowledgeable. Whether is was past history or current events, it was easy to visit with him either in person or on the phone or an hour or two. I will miss visiting with him. Alan Washburn, Lamar
I had the good fortune to work at Oak Hill Farms when I was a young man and the lessons, I learned are etched in my memory today. Dan and his family helped me understand that looking out for everyone and helping others was the work. His kindness and patience have made us all better. Gregg Martin was so very much like Dan. My fellow Grange members and lifelong friends have so many fond memories of gathering at the Martin home and the welcome we were always given. It's wonderful to know that the Farm is still so active, and family still commit to its care which serves them and the community. Thank you and God bless you all.
