Gene's family were neighbors when I was growing up. Gene attended the the one room country school I attended at Berlin. Hadn't seen him in years but we connected on face book and chatted. Sorry to hear he passed. Prayers to the family

He was a great friend and a great man. He had a great sense of humor. He is deeply missed. Rest In Peace.
Gene will be deeply missed. He was always willing to help others. I remember all the times that he would lend a helping hand at VBS. He was a devout Christian and a great person to be around.

I worked with gene for 30+ years, he was my boss when I started in 1978. He was a good teacher and friend. Lots of good cable TV stories were shared. He will be missed.
