Lisa Ann Mooney's Obituary
Lisa Ann (Armstrong) Mooney, 60 of Pittsburg, KS died October 12, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family and friends following a long battle with cancer.
She was born December 17, 1962 in Pittsburg KS, the daughter of Jack Lee and
Doris (Curry) Armstrong.
On December 31, 1982 she was united in marriage to Bruce Mooney he survives.

Lisa worked for the U.S.D 250 school district as a paraprofessional and later at Class LTD providing care to individuals with disabilities.
She was a member of the College Heights Christian Church in Pittsburg.
Survivors include her husband Bruce Mooney, sister Karla Armstrong of Pittsburg, aunts
and uncles Jim & Judy Armstrong of Walla Walla, WA and Virginia Armstrong of
Bella Vista, AR; two grandsons: Jaxon & Dawsyn Mooney of Frontenac a daughter-in-law and her husband Melissa and Ronny DeNayer of Frontenac, her best friends Lisa and husband Dwayne Nutt and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Lisa spent her final days surrounded by her closest friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents Jack and Doris her only child Casey Wayne Mooney and her beloved poodle Duncan.
The family would like to thank Harry Hynes Hospice, Melissa DeNayer, Lisa Nutt and Daisy Mooney for the loving and compassionate care they provided to Lisa.
A Celebration of life will take place at The Lodge in Pittsburg Kansas on Sunday, October 22nd from 2-4 pm. Condolences may be left at www.bathnaylor.com. Memorials may be made to the Harry Hynes
