Linda K Davis' Obituary
Linda K. Davis 73, of Scammon, KS died 7:47pm Monday January 25, 2021 at the Via Christi Hospital in Pittsburg, KS following an illness.
Linda was born October 29, 1947 in Scammon, KS the daughter of Ross O. and Opal L. (Jones) Bennett. She was a lifelong resident of the area and a graduate of Columbus High School.
On June 1, 1968 Linda married Patrick E. Davis in Scammon, KS; he preceded her in death on August 21, 2001. Linda worked as a homemaker. Linda was of the Christian Faith and was a member of the Scammon Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include her children Penny Hibdon of Girard, KS and Bob Davis and wife Brooke of Pittsburg, KS; 1 brother; 3 sisters; son in law Zeke Buckley of Scammon, KS; best friend Beth Ashmore of Pittsburg, KS; grandchildren Emily Hibdon, Allison Hibdon, Lauren Hibdon, Autumn Davis, Ainsley Davis, Everlee Davis, Nicole Buckley and Devin Buckley; great-grandchildren Riley Carson and Prea Carson.
Linda was preceded in death by her husband, sister and daughter Patricia Buckley.
Graveside Memorial Services will be 1:00pm Wednesday February 10, 2021 at the Council Corner Cemetery in Rural Cherokee County, KS with Pastor Jim Thomas officiating. In lieu of flowers the family asks expressions of sympathy to be in the form of memorials to the Scammon Presbyterian Church.
