Dear Family of Lillys, I just received a notice from the Weir Alumni Association about my 75th high school reunion, and the obituary for Lillys was enclosed. I am so, so sorry. When we were growing up in Weir, Lillys and Phyllis lived across the street from me, and I shared a lot of memories of good times with the two of them. She was such a beautiful person, a really beautiful face as a young girl and woman and forever beautiful inside. She was one of the most perceptive, thoughtful and kind persons I have ever known. We corresponded at least once a year, usually at Christmas time, and she always wrote of her--and yours--growing family. She really loved being a parent, grandparent, great grandparent, and great great grandparent. Although it's been decades since we last met, I find myself already missing her.
