Lettie Marie Grotheer's Obituary
Lettie Marie Grotheer passed away in her sleep surrounded by her loving husband and family on August 2nd, 2016 in Pittsburg, Kansas.
She was born October 14, 1944 in Boone, Iowa and married Richard Leroy Grotheer on January 23, 1960. They remained in Pittsburg and worked many years together raising a family of six children; Ricky Grotheer (Cherokee, Kansas) Tina Zahn and Jenny Morris (Weir, Kansas), Christine Henderson and Mary Grotheer (Pittsburg, Kansas). One son, David Grotheer, preceded her in death.
She is survived by three siblings Alice McNabb and Tom Coulter (Pittsburg) and Bill Coulter (Napa, CA).
Three siblings proceeded her in death; Teresa Bouray, Deborah Atkinson and Jack Coulter.
She enjoyed baking, gardening, hunting, fishing and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren in addition to her beloved pets.
The family would like to thank the loving care givers at Medicalodge South for their care and dedication to Lettie during the last months of her life.
A visitation is scheduled for Sunday, August 7th at Bath Naylor Funeral Home in Pittsburg from 5 to 7.

In the spirit of her love of animals the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Southeast Kansas Humane Society in Pittsburg, Kansas; these may be left at or mailed to the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home 522 S. Broadway, Pittsburg, KS.
